Your new role
You will ensure that all aspects of accounts payable practices support the company values and financial responsibilities.

You will match/code/enter inventory invoices and credit notes, prepare cheques and electronic payments (EFT/ACH/WIRE/PAD) to meet payment terms and ensure that vendors' discounts are processed.

Also, you will investigate and resolve issues regarding pricing and quantities discrepancies with colleagues, vendors, department heads and branch managers as needed.

In addition, you will reconcile vendor statements, file and distribute mail. You will uphold the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records related to the organization and its business partners.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you must have 0-3 years of accounts payable experience and knowledge of general accounting, great attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and high volume environment, fast and accurate data entry, good communication and customer service skills.

You are comfortable using Excel and Outlook.

You can learn new accounting software quickly, and you are familiar with handling invoices and taxes for all Canadian provinces.

What's In It for You?

We are proud to offer a competitive salary for this role in the range of $48,000 to $52,000 per year.

The actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal equity. This position includes extensive benefits coverage and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and successful team
