If you are passionate about being part of the future of transportation in Canada, then this opportunity might be perfect for you We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Facility Infrastructure team to support our Toronto Maintenance Center renovation project.

In this essential role, you'll focus on coordinating construction activities, managing and controlling documents, and handling administrative tasks. Your contribution will be central to the seamless collaboration among different team members and stakeholders.

Additionally, you will play a vital role in organizing documentation, while providing efficient and excellent administrative support to the teams.

Responsibilities:


  • As a resource person, coordinate construction activities, document management, and administrative tasks. Ensure clear communication with team members to understand the needs and priorities of the Maintenance Facility Upgrade group.
  • Gather information and intelligence from different sources, maintain project databases, while keeping team members informed of work progress.
  • Notify team members and stakeholders about upcoming or overdue documents and workflows, updating reports and compiling data as needed for document status reports on project activities.
  • Develop, implement, and manage EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) in compliance with the company's standards;
  • Ensure the Project Team members are provided with adequate training and support to enable them to successfully use the procedure and systems in use by the Program;
  • Schedule and perform internal document control audits of Project Teams to ensure compliance to Document Control procedures and provide trainings for Consultants and Contractor.
  • Monitor, distribute, and assign the appropriate workflow within the EDMS for design and construction submittals and RFIs;

Requirements:

  • College diploma in administration, records and information management, or construction engineering or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent;
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Experience in project management and document control;
  • Good skills with the MS Office suite, SharePoint, and planning tools;
  • Experience in the field of engineering and construction is a strong asset.

  • Analytical, statistical analysis and problemsolving skills to manipulate interpret and present data in a simple and easily understood manner for a wide range of audiences;
  • Excellent organizational skills with proven accuracy, reliability, attention to detail and completeness in job accomplishments;
  • Ability to be proactive, selfmotivated, and autonomous while being able to build partnerships to work effectively with project delivery units;
