Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects
  • Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine project scope and requirements
  • Collaborate to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
  • Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to determine project expenses
  • Prepare detailed Takeoffs to help prepare pricing breakdowns

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, techniques, and software
  • Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to accurately calculate quantities, costs, and percentages
  • Solid understanding of project management concepts and practices
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

Experience:

- construction estimating: 1 year (preferred)


Ability to Commute:

  • Surrey, BC (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Surrey, BC: Relocate before starting work (required)
