Description

As a Lighting Artist at Alpha Channel Inc., you'll be responsible for telling engaging interactive stories using in-game, cinematic and narrative lighting.

You'll help create stunning compositions, help with player leading and set the mood of our environments

Responsibilities Include:

Achieve the desired mood and atmosphere of the art direction
Use lighting to emphasize drama or narrative, weather and time of day
Optimize lighting effects to keep within performance specifications
Research emerging technology and share suggestions with the Technical Art team
Identify and fix lighting issues

Qualifications

Superior eye for lighting, value, color, details, player leading
Creative. With a strong eye for crafting stunning visuals
Experience with portrait lighting, stage lighting, or architectural lighting
Experience with realtime and baked lighting techniques
Able to work from reference materials and concepts
Selfmotivated, excellent interpersonal skills, and being able to work well within a team

Nice To Have

Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or
Traditional art skills such as Painting, drawing or sculpting
Basic scripting knowledge
JIRA Experience
