Duties:

These positions are located at Regional Headquarters in Kingston, Ontario.

They provide procurement, contracting and materiel management services to regional clients, with occasional travel to CSC sites across the Ontario Region.


Work environment:


The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is the federal government agency responsible for administering sentences of a term of two years or more, as imposed by the courts.

CSC is responsible for managing institutions of various security levels and supervising offenders under conditional release in the community.

Asset Qualifications

Education

Graduation with a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in business administration, commerce, economics, e-supply chain management, materiel management, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

Degree equivalency

Experience
Experience using an Integrated financial and materiel management system, such as Oracle or SAP.

Experience in the use of tools and services created by Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) such as 9200 Requisitions, Mandatory Standing Offers, Supply Arrangements, and "Canada Buys".

Experience in materiel management.

This selection process has four stages:
Stage 2 consists of an exam.
Stage 3 consists of an interview which may be completed by MS Teams or in person.
Stage 4 will be reference checks. Reference names will be requested during stage 3.

Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
