Responsibilities

  • Drive a forklift in the yard
  • Load and unload materials from the truck to the locations in the yard
  • Material handling
  • Operate other machinery if needed
  • Ensure that the yard is kept clean and well maintained
  • During the winter the chosen person must assist in clearing up the snow
  • Organize all material and load
  • Take note of inventory
  • Daily management and issuing of all field staff equipment and stock needs

Qualifications

  • Must be able to operate heavy equipment and machinery
  • General labour experience Is a must
  • Must be open to working outdoors 90 percent of the time
  • Must be able to handle heavier loads and materials
  • Experience working with heavy equipment, machinery and construction is an asset
  • Comfortable working with computers and using computer databases
Must be able to work with a team


What You Bring to the Team:

  • Working knowledge at Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Great organization & time management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous shipping and receiving experience are an asset.
  • Independent worker that needs little supervision.
  • Good technical skills using computerbased technologies and devices.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Lifting and filing experience.
  • Ability and willingness to work long hours when required.
  • Valid Forklift Truck License.
  • Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
