Bureau Veritas is looking for a
Laboratory Analyst - VOC Air Lab
As a Laboratory Analyst, your responsibilities are:
- To analyze air samples by GCMS
- To follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure accuracy and quality of work
- To prepare TO15 standards and samples for analysis
- Schedule samples so that all rush and standard TAT guidelines are met
- To interpret and report all samples in LIMS so that all TAT is met
- To maintain and troubleshoot GCMS and Entech systems
- To provide input to corrective action procedures.
- To follow all laboratory safety rules and regulation
- To keep their work area clean, neat and organized
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Team Leader or Manager
You are an ideal Laboratory Analyst, if you have [Minimum Requirements]:
- A post-secondary education in Science from an approved institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and one year experience in a related area of testing.
- Previous instrumentation experience on a GC or GC/MS preferred
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good record keeping skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to accurately follow Standard operating Procedures (SOP's) and instructions
- A Dynamic, energetic, motivated, positive outlook and a "cando" attitude.
- A safety oriented attitude and are able to handle hazardous materials using established safety procedures and appropriate equipment.
