We are currently looking for an experienced, dependable, and enthusiastic Accounting Assistant to join our team.


Job Summary:

The primary role of the Accounting Assistant is to provide support to the Accounting Supervisor, particularly in accounts payable, invoicing, and general accounting and administrative tasks. Comprehensive training will be provided at the beginning.


Job Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • Implement and document accounting policies and procedures.
  • Process vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll and employee expense reports.
  • Greet visitors and offer general accounting department support.
  • Prepare and process invoices, sales receipts, and payments.
  • Handle purchase orders and accounting document filing.
  • Perform reconciliations and resolve issues.
  • Prepare reports, deposits, and assist with expense reviews.
  • Maintain financial data confidentiality and office supplies.
  • Conduct data entry tasks as needed.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Minimum Associate's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 13 years of hands-on accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Other Requirements:

  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Dedication to quality work and continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, and team player.
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Professional work ethic and environment maintenance.

Salary: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
