About the Position

Beyond the Baby, Blues is a 9-week support group for childbearing persons who are experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety. The Trainer and Public Education Worker plans and develops and co-facilitates the Beyond the Baby Blues group.

This position will expand the reach of the Beyond the Baby Blues group in order to better support parents who are vulnerable with a focus on newcomer, low-income and 2SLGBTTQ+ families.

Initiatives including community outreach, working with stakeholders and strengthening networks will be a vital part of this role.

About You

You have a bachelor's level degree in social work, counselling or a related field. You are a member in good standing of OCSWSSW or equivalent. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. You have a thorough knowledge of the issues and challenges related to perinatal mental health. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required; Bilingual (English and French) preferred.
