Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Property Administrator, on behalf of our confidentialhave extensive knowledge and expertise in property management practices, with a focus on
administrative tasks. As confidentiality is crucial, the name of the client and specific property
details will not be disclosed.
Responsibilities:
Rent Management:
- Deposit and reconcile rents received from tenants.
- Ensure accurate and timely rent collection and tracking.
- Maintain detailed records of rent payments and tenant accounts.
Property Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Assist in the onboarding process for newly acquired properties.
- Coordinate property offboarding procedures for properties being sold.
Tenant Management System:
- Manage the tenant management system utilized by the client.
- Ensure the system is updated with accurate tenant information and records.
- Generate reports and provide necessary information to property managers.
Lease and Form Preparation:
- Prepare leases and rental agreements as requested by property managers.
- Generate necessary forms required for tenant services.
LTB Court Representation:
- Potentially represent the company in LTB (Landlord and Tenant Board) court, if
- Assist in preparing necessary documentation for legal proceedings.
Utilities Management:
- Take charge of managing utilities for the properties.
- Coordinate utility setups, transfers, and chargebacks to tenants.
- Ensure accurate tracking of utility expenses.
Vacant Unit Advertising:
- Post and advertise vacant units online through various platforms.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure effective online listings.
Mortgage Applications:
Other Duties:
- Perform additional administrative duties related to property management, as
- Adapt to various tasks and responsibilities based on the needs of the client.
- Extensive experience in property management, specifically in administrative roles.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and French) is highly preferred, as properties are located in
- Familiarity with tenant management systems and property management software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong problemsolving and multitasking abilities.
