Scope of Position

Complete production requirements, which include assembling and packaging.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Complete production requirements which include assembling and packaging
Inspection / test recording of any testing required for quality or customer requests
Communicate any perceived / realistic product shortages and / or technical difficulties to Assembly Supervisor or Manager, in a timely manner.
Log serial numbers and generate labels for packaging with label printer
Review BOM's and Work Instructions with Assembly Supervisor or Manager to produce quality and accurate assemblies. Report mistakes and quality issues immediately.
Work with scanners for bar code labeling process
Handle material from Assembly staging area to designated work station, as instructed by Assembly Supervisor or Manager
Communicate skid requirements to Material Handler to ensure correct stock (by skid) is picked
Conduct and promote work in a safe and responsible manner and report any safety concerns immediately to the supervisor, department manager or a member of the Environmental Health & Safety Committee. Wear appropriate PPE and operate electric or manual material handling equipment in a safe manner in accordance with standards and procedures.
Maintain work area and physical plant in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
Perform any other duties as required.

Core Competencies

Electrical / mechanical inclination
Ability to operate service hand tools, solder (optional)
Ability to work with mínimal supervision but also be able to work within a team environment
Able to operate a pump truck in a safe manner
Good level of product knowledge and working with BOM (part recognition, part numbers)
