9:00am - 5:30pm (
On-site & potential hybrid)


Summary:


The Sales Support Coordinator provides critical support to the Account Managers, Customer service and R&D for the brief to win process.

Facilitates timely coordination of samples, pricing & costing, and documentation in addition to project leadership and coordination in order to contribute professional and prompt service to customers and to assigned projects for the US Ingredients team and the Canadian team.

Resolves issues that arise during the brief to win process. Our expectation is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Attend sales and product training sessions to fully understand the business and product line.
  • Collaborate with sales team as required on all presales matters associated with the corresponding customer base.
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales Account Executives, Customer Service and R&D personnel.
  • Prepare sample letters and documentation to accompany samples.
  • Organize projects to ensure we are meeting customer expectations and limit, if not avoid, delays.
  • Follow up with customers, in conjunction with direction from sales, for results on pending samples, new projects, and quotations.
  • Ensure timely communication with internal and external customers.
  • Liaise with Regulatory and QA in order to complete questionnaires from Ingredient customers and submit in the time frame required.
  • Pay attention to customers' needs and cultivate a relationship.
  • Draft/Input project briefs with accurate and complete information
  • Maintain all price lists as necessary.
  • Coordinate with sales, customer service leadership and executive management to define presales support initiatives
  • Manage projects to ensure we are meeting customer expectations
  • Schedule and attend project, customer, or other related meetings.
  • Perform various administrative duties as needed
  • When questions arise from customers, please ask the sales executive that is responsible for the account for help.

Qualifications:


Required:


  • 2 years of Food industry experience
  • Fluency in English

Preferred:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of French
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 36
  • Knowledge of Oracle

Work Environment:


  • General office environment with adequate lighting, temperature, and mínimal noise level
  • Minimal time required in warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and odors

Physical Demands:


  • Work is sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking during various times of the day
  • May be rarely required to lift weight up to 20 lbs.
  • While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, hear and use hands to control, handle or feel
