Position Description:


The Administrative Coordinator will work with the Plastic Surgery and Craniofacial teams in the Plastic Surgery Division, to organize and schedule surgical cases in the OR and coordinate clinic bookings.


Here¿s What You¿ll Get To Do

  • In conjunction with the Plastic Surgery team, ensure patients are booked for surgeries and clinic bookings in a timely way
  • Liaise with appropriate personnel to followup on surgical matters
  • Schedule and confirm surgeries and appointments for families using judgment to reschedule or book according to changing priorities
  • Work within a fast paced large interdisciplinary team

Here¿s What You¿ll Need

  • Administrative degree/postdiploma program
  • Minimum of 2 years in an administrative role, with preference given to working in a hospital environment
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated high level of judgment, tact and diplomacy in interacting with a wide variety of staff members
  • Ability to handle a fastpaced, busy work environment with many interruptions and competing priorities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage activities both for yourself and for others effectively
  • A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity & inclusion
