Business Development Manager, Music & Entertainment
Tradable Bits is an award-winning tech company that helps music and sports brands build better fan experiences. We're charting the path to personalized fan experiences for live events. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Manager to help grow our partners in music and entertainment.


What You Will Do:

  • Identify sales channels and opportunities to grow our presence in music and entertainment
  • Attentively build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners that are in various stages of the sales cycle
  • Identify, structure, negotiate, amend, close, and manage strategic deals
  • Work closely with the customer success team on projects (new digital innovations, integrations, etc.)
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders within a partner organization and build credibility
  • Represent our company at industry events and relay market intelligence to our team
  • Help partners develop ideas and strategies that creatively use our platform
  • Stay informed of current developments in the music and entertainment industries
  • Quickly master our platform and make databacked suggestions on how we can improve
  • Collaborate with the development team to scope and project manage new feature releases

Who You Are:

  • Minimum one year of business development experience including corporate partnerships, agency, or SaaS sales
  • Experience in the Music or Entertainment industry, either working in/as a promoter, artist management, label, music marketing, music technology, ticketing, etc
  • Have an existing network within the music and entertainment industry that you can tap into
  • Entrepreneurial hustle mentality
  • Excel at building, maintaining, and executing strategic business growth plans
  • Passionate networker who loves meeting new people and building relationships
  • Collaborative teamplayer happy to work with product, customer success, development, and marketing teams
  • Articulate professional with exceptional communication skills and a sense of humor
  • Compelling storyteller with excellent presentation building and delivery skills
  • Excellent problem solver with analytical skills and strong influencing abilities
  • Comfortable communicating complex technical concepts to nontechnical partners
  • Product savvy with a deep understanding of technology and digital marketing trends
  • Strong attention to detail while still grasping the bigger picture of any opportunity
  • Takes initiative, manages their own workload with excellent time management skills
  • Strong facility for negotiating contracts, interpreting legal documents, and working with attorneys to write and complete agreements
  • Confidence, tact and entrepreneurlevel independence when speaking to clients
  • Major teamplayer that genuinely cares about the company's overall success

Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding and passion for music business ranging from labels, promoters, venues, and artist management. Experience with major enterprises preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Business, Economics or Science preferred but not required
  • Significant experience successfully managing partnerships with large companies and demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex business issues
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment and ability to adapt quickly
  • Experience working with all levels of management (externally and internally) and communicating crossfunctionally in a structured and clear manner
  • Uptodate with the latest trends and best practices for the music industry when dealing with Social Advertising, SEM and performance advertising
  • Ability to speak Spanish or French is a bonus, but not required
