Position Description:
- Able to prepare requests for quotes (RFQ) and purchase orders (PO)
- Provide support for the shop in highlighting and streamlining rush part orders and ensuring they get packaged.
- Able to quote spare parts list, and complete reorders as needed
- Work with suppliers, to expedite critical parts orders.
- Adding in new Job's in to the ERP system
- Assist in making travel arrangements for technicians as needed.
- Able to decipher Engineered drawings to order parts.
- Prepare work orders and inspection forms
- Knowledge and capability of local machine shops.
- Able to negotiate with vendors on purchases, and negotiate back charges with vendors supplying nonconforming product.
- Manage and conduct prequalification audits.
- Locate and develop new sources of supply
- Procure components/services for project builds
- Support product and project procurement activities in conjunction with production schedule.
- Support supply base and supplier development program.
- Monitor supplier delivery and quality performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Quote and Arrange freight for equipment and/or parts.
- Review and approval of account payable invoicing.
- Analysis of material costing performance to project budgets.
- Project costing assessments for all actual to budget performance.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Relevant Postsecondary Education or enrollment in a PMAC education program
- Expert Microsoft office, and computer skills
- Strong problem identification and problemsolving skills, sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in Negotiation skills

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Grimsby, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Purchasing: 5 years (preferred)
- Negotiation: 5 years (preferred)
