Working closely with the Product & Partner Management (PPM) and Marketing teams, the Business Project Manager is responsible for business planning and performance analysis and for the leadership of projects designed to meet PPM, Marketing and company objectives.
What you will do:
Business/Planning Functions
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual planning
- Develops and reports on goals in coordination with management for defined business metrics
- Communicates the impact of trends within the IT industry to stakeholders
- Provides solutions to business issues and/or challenges, and identifies opportunities to leverage
- Provides adhoc support to the management team of PPM as required
Project Functions
- Leads varied projects/initiatives as defined by management working both individually and as part of a group
- Projects may include internal or external process or communication improvements, alignment or improvement of company and/or vendor partner initiatives, operational streamlining, new coworker onboarding, as well as cross departmental initiatives
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identifies resources needed to implement projects successfully and within timelines
- Manages daytoday operational aspects of the department including consolidating partner communication to CDW sellers, goal processing and reporting, collaboration with finance on partner contracts and billing, and strong alignment and collaboration with the data lab and purchasing teams on product description code maintenance, distribution bids, and partner processes through distribution.
- Responsible for creating, maintaining, sharing and storing process documents, resource guides, training modules and other related project and operational process documents
- Reviews and consolidates deliverables prepared by the PPM or marketing teams and ensures communication between all key stakeholders
- Holds project review meetings with all key stakeholders and team members
- Responsible for building content and leading workshops, assembling and conducting formal presentations, and collecting and summarizing stakeholder feedback
- Communicates relevant project information to management on a timely basis
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
- Identifies possible areas of opportunity for the company and shares with management
What you need to Succeed
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent analytical and planning skills
- Knowledge of the IT industry and aptitude for understanding new technologies
- Selfmotivated, results oriented and ability to manage tasks simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Solid presentation skills
