We are looking for a talented and competitive Sales Specialist who will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Actively manage the entire sales cycle from lead management to prospecting, organizing meetings, preparing proposals, delivering presentations and product demos, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Design and implement effective sales strategies with the team aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies, ensuring continuity of messaging and optimization of lead generation and conversion.
  • Review and streamline the sales cycle process to optimize sales workflow, improve efficiency and maximize revenue generation.
  • Responsible for the customer onboarding process from point of sale to successful implementation. Educate new customers, familiarize them with the features, help solve technical problems, and ensure the smooth adoption of Felix products.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing customers, understand their payment processing needs and pain points, positioning Felix as the optimal solution.
  • Research and understand customer history and previous experiences, in order to create more personalized customer experiences.
  • Manage and update CRM database (Zoho) and conduct regular sales forecasting and pipeline management, monitoring key performance metrics and providing accurate sales reports and feedback to executive team.
  • Deliver sales and product knowledge training when required.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing quotes, proposals, contracts, and presentations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape, leveraging market insights drive product enhancements.
  • Represent Felix professionally at conferences, trade shows and other promotional events across Canada or USA. Business travel may be required.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience of software sales experience in the payments industry.
  • Proven track record of success in sales management and have indepth knowledge of payment platforms, payment processing, and the overall payments ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey the value proposition to clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and negotiate deals, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make datadriven decisions.
  • Experience working with Zoho or similar CRM platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field, is desirable.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Highly motivated selfstarter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
