Live In Assistant Building Manager to join our CFAA and FRPO award-winning residential team.


SUMMARY
This is a full-time, live-in position that assists with the daily operations of 695 Proudfoot Lane.

Reporting to the Building Manager, the Assistant Building Manager will help run daily operations of the building and attend to cleaning, general minor maintenance and resident relations.

The Assistant Building Manager will receive support from our passionate and dedicated in-house maintenance and landscape team.

DUTIES
Working a Friday to Tuesday weekly schedule, the Assistant Building Manager will

  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas and units including emptying waste containers and moving bins for city pick up
  • Complete minor insuite repairs
  • Assist with tenant concerns
  • Assist with moveins and moveouts
  • Manage the outdoor pool operations including enforcement of the pool amenity rules, maintaining water chemistry and pool logbook, and coordinating with contractors
  • Perform and document regular checks regarding the condition of the building, its system, and grounds
  • Maintain logs such as boiler, ice and snow, fire, and weekend logbook ensuring that security and fire safety measures are in place

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 13 years of experience in a residential building management/superintendent capacity preferred
  • Experience with cleaning, basic residential maintenance, and seasonal pool operation preferred
  • Proficient with computer and smartphone
  • Proficient spoken and written English
  • Courteous manners with the public
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Must be able to work independently of direct supervision
  • Criminal background check required (administered and paid for by BlueStone)
  • Secondary School Diploma
