Aecon's Major Projects West division is hiring a

Project Administrator for our St. Mary's Interchange Project in

Winnipeg, Manitoba. This is an important project for Aecon and the community which will provide critical infrastructure to a growing city and better access to important economic corridors. The contract is a $135 million design-build contract for the construction of an interchange at Perimeter Highway (PTH 100) and St. Mary's Road.


What You'll Do Here:


  • Ensures time entries/hours worked are capture in the system and updates crews.
  • Performs administrative duties for job sites ensuring all documentation regarding timesheets, equipment usage and all personnel related allowances are entered into system.
  • Match packing slips received from the field with purchase orders issued and invoices received.
  • Supports employee daytoday inquiries, working closely with human resources and payroll to resolve issues for employees.
  • Enter Requisition purchase orders and ensure receiving is processed in a timely manner.
  • Processing of AP invoices including obtaining correct signatures and uploading to the system.
  • Uploading documentation into document control system.
  • Perform and maintain organized documentation and filing.
  • Order office and safety supplies for site trailer.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Position will be working on a construction site, previous experience in the construction industry is an asset.
  • Must possess 1+ years of office related experience with knowledge of purchasing, accounts payable, document control, and payroll.
  • Intermediate level of computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Experience using SAP preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to deal tactfully with employees, visitors and customers.
  • Must be a team player, be able to work independently and prioritize workload.
  • Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.
  • Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
