POSITION SCOPE

Reporting to the Elevator Manager, the Elevator Operator is responsible for receiving and loadout of grain in a safe, efficient, and traceable manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Bin grain varieties and trace
Loadout grain varieties and trace
Safe operations in all weather conditions
Elevator maintenance and housekeeping
Other routine duties as assigned

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Familiarity with agriculture industry is an asset
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently
Some physical demands
Self motivated

EDUCATION

Minimum Grade 12

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Personal Protective Equipment required in all work environments.
Indoor work environments can be dusty and hot.
