Duties

  • Oversee Production, ensuring Safe
  • Effective (First Time Right)
  • Efficient operations.
  • Direct Reports include 1 to 3 Production Supervisors. Indirect reports include 12 people.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Implement lean manufacturing TPM principles to optimize productivity, maintain process control.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
  • Collaborate with supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Manage operations and coordinate with various departments to meet production goals.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, coaching to the production team.
  • Create a positive work experience.
  • Ensure adherence to FSQA standards throughout the production process.
  • Communicate scheduling of production timelines with other departments.
  • Ensure development and training on pertinent SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in production management or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or TPM methodologies.
  • Supply chain management skills, including inventory control and logistics coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of FSQA standards such as HACCP, GMP, GFSI.
  • Ability to confidently make decisions, keep the calm, as it relates to production timelines.

Schedule:


Typical work week is Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm but as this is a Manager Level position with Bonus Eligibility, additional hours and schedule flexibility will be required based upon the needs of the business.


Pay:
From $95,000.00 per year

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:


  • Manufacturing: 3 years (required)
  • Personnel management: 3 years (required)
  • Dairy or
Distillery Processing: 3 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Six Sigma Certification (preferred)
