Description

As the Vice President of Personal Insurance and Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and growth of our personal insurance business segment.

Reporting directly to the COO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of personal insurance product development, recruitment, training and development, sales strategies, and customer experience initiatives.

Your leadership will be responsible in achieving revenue targets, expanding market share, and enhancing customer satisfaction. As part of the leadership team, you will be integral in collaborating on LIG's strategic direction.

1.


Strategic Revenue Goals:
Sales


  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement comprehensive strategies for personal lines products and sales initiatives, analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and client insights to identify growth opportunities to continue to differentiate our offerings.
  • In collaboration with COO and other sales business leaders, develop annual sales plan, operating and expense budget with focus on new business opportunities for Personal Lines, establishing and implementing shortterm and longterm departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • In conjunction with other lines of business, set and be responsible for Team Assist (crosssell) revenue targets for personal lines.
  • Ongoing analysis of current Personal Lines sales to identify areas of enhancement to maximize revenue growth.
  • Conduct Broker management reviews and make recommendations based on volume, profitability, quality of submissions and relationships with our insuring partners.
  • Meet with our business partners annually to set production and retention goals, meet quarterly to review targets, and make adjustments if necessary.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, setting clear objectives and performance targets developing and implementing sales strategies, distribution channels and incentive programs to drive revenue growth and market penetration.

Account and Client Experience Management:


  • Champion a clientcentric approach across all areas of personal lines collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service, streamline processes and improve the overall client journey.
  • Working closely with the Supervisor, Personal Lines, ensure LIG Service Standards are delivered to our clients; ensuring timely follow up and claim resolution, stepping in to resolve complex matters when needed to maintain industry leading retention rates.
  • Responsible for overseeing risk assessment and underwriting process, driven by service expectations for new business, renewals and endorsements.
  • Carrier relationships, planning for success, execution of strategic plan and path
  • Proactively manage monthly claims activity and loss experience with carrier partners to optimize results.

3. Group Home & Auto / Holistic Programs Strategic Partnership Development

  • Working closely with the Business Development Specialist, build and maintain strong relationships with existing group home and auto clients to drive revenue growth and retention, satisfaction, and upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure team assist to drive our holistic growth strategy and deepen our client experience and engagement.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, including insurance carriers, brokers, and other relevant entities.
  • Foster collaboration and synergy between senior leadership and partners to leverage complementary strengths and maximize business opportunities.

Research, Trending and Reporting:


  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPI's) to measure effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives, product performance and client satisfaction
  • Conduct regular reviews and utilize data insights to identify areas of optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing personal insurance products; implementing risk protocols to continue to mitigate potential risk as well as LIG's reputation
  • Keeping up to date on carrier product knowledge, changes in the industry and marketplace
  • Maintain a strong and effective use of technology to improve the quality and control process of the personal lines department.
  • Adhere to risk selection criteria for all products and monitor the quality of underwriting decisions through regular audits.

5. People Leadership

  • Build and mentor a high performing sales and service team; fostering collaboration and innovation to ensure our culture of continuous learning.
  • Provides guidance, coaching and professional development opportunities to empower team growth and success. Develop and implement the training & Education program for all new and existing Personal Lines Service and Technical staff.
