Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead Communications Strategy
- Management and execution of external marketing and digital communication strategies
- Manage & evolve existing communications channels, and work with a team and various stakeholders to translate information into engaging, and relevant content across various platforms
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Staying positive and professional during stressful situations.
- Have a good eye for visuals and art direction
- Knowledge and experience using Cision.
- Post-Secondary Education in Communications and/or Public Relations
- Manage Partner Relationships
- Work with Senior Leadership to establish short
- Develop, manage, and maximize efficiency of the communications budget and related expenses
Required Education, Languages & Skills:
- University degree in public relations, public administration, marketing, or business administration, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or brand management
- Project management experience is preferred
- Strong news writing skills and editorial abilities for all forms of written media and communications.
- Proven ability to prepare concise media materials, such as news alerts, fact sheets, etc.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, including trade publications, magazines, and other pertinent business partners.
- Demonstrated track record of managing large events, such as trade shows, exhibits, etc.
- Understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management.
- Strong research skills and knowledge of competitive analysis methods.
- Creative thinker with ability to bring those ideas to life through clear, strategic plans
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail
- Solid understanding of PR and social media metrics
- Excellent verbal communication and presentational skills.
