Hours are 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Grade 12 Education, or equivalent
- Must have valid Forklift certification
- Minimum 12 years shipping & receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Ability to follow well defined procedures and capable of implementing some practical procedures
- Ability to use computer inventory system; experience with CMS is an asset

Essential Functions:
- Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook
- Receiving all incoming material
- Checking paperwork to ensure incoming material matches paperwork
- Ensure all incoming supplies are taken to the correct department
- Remove all tags from empty bins
- Organize shipping area by bins
- Listing material for outgoing shipments
- Ensure that product is shipped according to the packaging matrix
- Ensure labels are placed on all bins/stands
- Scan bar code on shipping label according to packing list
- Load all outgoing shipments
- Perform daily forklift inspections
- Place FIFO stickers on all incoming raw material
- Housekeeping:
- Floors in Shipping to be swept and washed by the end of each shift
- Garbage cans to be dumped at the end of each shift
- Work station to be clean and organized
- All other duties as requested by Supervisor
Work Environment:
- Plant floor (PPE required)
Physical Demands:
- Shift work
- Overtime as required
Health and Safety:
- Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures
- Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the Company
