About the Opportunity:
Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) is looking for a full-time neurologist to join their team. The role involves providing consultative neurology services for the Western Zone, including patient consultations, in-patient care, and conducting EMG and nerve conduction studies.
Established in 1992, VRH serves Kings and Annapolis Counties as well as being a referral center for Western Nova Scotia. Located in Kentville, the 137-bed facility offers inpatient, outpatient, and satellite services to around 80,000 residents annually.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive neurology care within the Western Zone
- Collaborate with Nova Scotia Health to enhance neurology services
- Offer consultation support, including day-time and occasional overnight/weekend coverage
- Conduct clinics and satellite clinics for the patient population requiring travel
- Adhere to professional standards and regulations
Expected Hours:
Fulltime, Permanent
Qualifications:
- Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
