About the Position:

Canature WaterGroup is growing We are looking for an experienced driven, talented, and personable individual to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Draftsperson that is proficient in drafting software and has a strong understanding of technical drawings and schematics in a manufacturing environment.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to innovative projects while honing their drafting skills.

Reporting to the General Manager, CIED, this position will be responsible for:

  • Creating preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis
  • Creating engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing
  • Creating design specifications, documentation, and material lists
  • Estimating material and production costs for designs
  • Preparing complete documentation packages for engineers
  • Verifying drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations
  • Collaborate with engineers to produce accurate technical drawings
  • Review and modify designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
  • Developing technical reports for engineers

About you:


  • A technical diploma / certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 13 years of experience in technical drafting
  • Must be a team player with a positive and professional attitude
  • Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving abilities in order to develop creative solutions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple competing projects within a deadline driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications required for the creation and maintenance of documentation and reports
  • Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and/or other relevant software
  • Strong understanding of CAD principles and techniques
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
