In addition to conventional insurance, investment and financial advice products and services, we pride ourselves in delivering preventative financial education and, where required, counselling, to support our members' financial wellbeing.
As a social enterprise, the profits we make help fund programs within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) community to benefit members and their families.
SISIP Financial services are available to Canadian Armed Forces Members both virtually and in-person. We have 23 offices located in CAF communities across Canada. Our national office is located in Ottawa.THE ROLE Under the direction of the District Manager, the Investment Funds Advisor provides tailored investment advice and solutions to current and former CAF members and their families.
They demonstrate the skills, knowledge and experience for budgeting and cash flow management, mutual fund investments, education planning, retirement planning and estate planning.
They analyze clients' financial records, sets goals and recommends investment solutions to help them achieve their goals.QUALIFICATIONS Education, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field AND several years of experience in financial services
Investment Funds Course (IFC)
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) OR Personal Financial Planner (PFP), an asset
In the provision of financial planning and investment services
In building relationships with clients
In providing investment advice
In preparing written financial plans
OTHER INFORMATION Language Requirement:
English Essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset
Writing:
This is an on-site position.
Relocation benefits will not be provided.
