Guard Job Description


Duties:


  • Provide loss prevention and security services to ensure the safety and protection of people and property.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to identify and respond to any suspicious activities or potential threats.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain a visible presence and deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, and take appropriate action as necessary.
  • Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations to maintain order and safety.
  • Complete accurate incident reports detailing any securityrelated incidents or observations.
  • Assist with access control by checking identification, verifying credentials, and granting or denying entry as required.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies or emergency services when necessary.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in security or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills for operating CCTV systems or other security equipment.
  • Valid driver's license may be required depending on the job location.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 25-40 per week


Salary:
$16.50-$21.12 per hour
