Clinical Research Assistant

Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):

Reconcile differences amongst regulatory guidance to inform decision-making for discovery, preclinical/nonclinical and clinical studies.
Review of the literature and regulatory information to inform scientific decisionmaking.
Update literature and clinical trials search tables.
Assist the team with the review of clinical findings, systematic review of the related literature and clinical trials to support the company's drug development plan.
Assist the clinical team in preparation, handling, distribution, filing, and archiving of clinical documentation and reports according to the scope of work and standard operating procedures.
Assess overall filing, documentation, reporting and archiving process on ongoing basis for clinical trial activities.
Assist with periodic review of study files for completeness.
Archiving clinical research documents.
Tracking and maintenance of any correspondence with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) or collaborative partners.
Assist Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) with preparation, handling and distribution of Clinical Trial information, supplies, and maintenance of tracking information.
Assist in implementing process improvements.
Assist in clinical trial correspondence.
Attend regular meetings as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (BSc) in a healthrelated discipline.
1+ years of experience working in a researchbased environment.
Master's degree would be considered an asset.
