What you'll need to have


Your passion for communication and/or interior design will help create a better everyday life for the many people and shape the visual identity of the IKEA brand.

You have minimum of 3-5 years' managerial experience in a design-orientated role (interior design, graphic design, visual merchandising and/or store planning)


You are an inspiring and motivating leader who is passionate about fashion, design and home furnishing trends and can provide an optimal layout, an appealing presentation and a well-thought-out communication of the IKEA range.

You are capable to steer the store business over the short-, mid
- and long term, make home furnishing reflect the IKEA way and create a visual impact in all commercial, sales support and co-worker areas.


You are willing to manage, motivate and develop people and creative processes in a changing environment, while communicating in an inspired IKEA tone of voice.


You enjoy taking responsibility, define and implement action plans, set expectations, provide clear directions and follow up on goals to develop the business, deliver results and create a vitality throughout the store.


What you'll be doing day to day


Contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishings in your local market by using the IKEA product range to offer many relevant, functional, sustainable and affordable solutions in different distinct styles.


Lead the store Com&In team in securing relevant and inspiring range presentation solutions, an optimal store layout and effective store communication that builds the IKEA Brand and distances IKEA retailers from the competition.


Initiate and facilitate workshops to generate creative directions and partner with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to stimulate and increase interest in home furnishing for all co-workers across the store.


Ensure vitality and seasonality in the store, meaningful and engaging range presentation solutions, effective and efficient in-store communication that builds the IKEA brand and sets it apart from the competition.


Contribute through knowledge of people's life at home and consumer shopping behaviour to the creation and implementation of the store business plan.

Identify current and future business needs and encourage coworkers to constantly take actions that explore short-and long-term commercial opportunities.


Secure the use of the interior design layout as a commercial tool to plan and implement commercial strategies throughout the store.


Drive a knowledge sharing culture while inspiring, recognizing and developing the many talents within the team to ensure succession planning for all key roles.
