The Opportunity

Moda Hotel, a downtown Vancouver hotel, offers a unique hotel experience for people from all over the world to enjoy. With its hip and historic allure, Moda Hotel Vancouver offers 69 chic guestrooms and suites and an inspiring collection of establishments including the award-winning Cibo Trattoria and Uva Wine + Cocktail Bar, the stylish Red Card Sports Bar and specialty beer and wine store, Viti Wine and Lager.

We are looking for a
Night Auditor/Guest Service Agent (part time) to come and join our team. We are looking for someone who strives to give the best customer service experience. This part-time position works 16-24 hours per week.


What You'll Do

  • Investigate problems further by verifying all revenue and expenses were claimed, preparing the next day's reports, including reconciling accounts with proficiency
  • Must have open availability for audit shifts. Audits shifts are overnight from (11:00 pm7:00 am)
  • Provide exceptional guest experience while maximizing the hotel's profitability while simultaneously providing supervision, training, coaching, motivation, and policy implementation.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, and handles any requests that may arise on an ad hoc basis
  • Provide courteous, professional and pleasant phone manner
  • Guest checkins and outs, promptly, professionally with a welcoming manner
  • Answering internal and external phones and transferring to proper departments
  • Answering the reservation line and assisting guests with bookings or inquiries.
  • Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner
  • Must follow procedures and policies implemented by the Hotel
  • Provide tourist information to Hotel guests
  • Performing general office duties
  • Responsible for cash float and processing proper form of payment
  • Balance all accounts, statements and clerk batch's

What You Have

  • Must Have 1 + years experience in hotel or travel agent experience
  • Must be detailed orientated, selfmotivated and reliable
  • Solid customer service skills
  • Experience handling hotel's cash flow
  • Must be able to identify and communicate and issues as soon as they arise
  • Must be available to start immediately
  • Must be currently living in B.C., Canada.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.
