Position Overview:

Job Description:


  • Coordinates the gathering of information and administers the communication of timelines with multiple financial and operational areas to consolidate data and provide insights
  • Prepares financial data and summary information for use in management reporting for management presentations across the organization; Summarizes large amounts of data and translates the numbers to tell the story
  • Prepare management reports, presentations, and Key Performance Indicators
  • Build customized financial reports to identify key trends, variances, opportunities for continuous improvement, and measure financial results against budget and forecasts.
  • Support the business in financial planning and forecasting through customized reports that facilitate the performance analysis of business targets, identify areas of risk and opportunities in collaboration with the business, and projections

Specific Skills:

  • Excellent time management skills such as tracking details and meeting aggressive deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
  • Advanced Excel skills including ability to use lookups and pivot tables
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Selfmotivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Financial cycle income statement, balance sheet, cash cycle and solid foundation with general accounting standards/IFRS
  • Demonstrates understanding of the link between analysis and business impact; ability to identify and integrate drivers for financial modeling
  • Maintains a solid understanding of systems to support analysis and reporting.

Accountability:

  • Assist in the consolidation of annual budget and quarterly forecast models and analyzes actual and budgeted figures on an ongoing basis. Creates and maintains financial templates
  • Gather insights from financial and operational information and build customized financial models, management reports and presentations. Prepare reports and Key Performance Indicators. Conduct regular and ad hoc analyses of business performance to assist in decision making
  • Review financial operating results to identify key trends, variances, opportunities for continuous improvement, and measure financial results against budget and forecasts.
  • Prepares financial data and summary information for use in management reporting for presentations across the organization
  • Support the business in financial planning and forecasting through customized reports that facilitate the performance analysis of business targets, identify areas of risk and opportunities in collaboration with the business
  • Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure that strategic initiatives are achieved
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work process. A significant focus is placed on continuous innovation, utilizing analytical tools to provide data driven insights. Drive automation
  • Support the business in gathering data and insights to facilitate the evaluation of business cases, provide financial and accounting expertise in the valuation of business cases
  • Protect and maintain confidential and sensitive written and oral information

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Accounting/Finance
  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent finance/accounting designation
  • At least 23 years of experience in an analytical role in Finance or Accounting
  • Relevant experience with financial analysis, financial modelling, profitability analysis, forecasting and budgeting, strategic planning
