Inventory Control Clerk - Etobicoke, Canada - NFI Industries
Description
TheInventory Control Clerk is responsible for the maintaining accurate records of inventory. This position reports to the Inventory Control Manager.
Shifts:
M-F 8a-430p
Duties and Responsibilities
- The performance of the daily/weekly cycle counts.
- Count all the locations in the warehouse and help with the investigation.
- Reconciles Inventory to book records and make adjustments when
- Participate in annual physical inventories.
- Hold and release the stock as per client's request.
- Count in house damages and update the system.
- Demonstrate eagerness and ability to learn and use WHS as necessary in the operation.
- Check expiry dates.
- Ability to operate office equipment (computers, scanners, etc.) to accomplish necessary objectives.
- Safely operate Material Handling equipment as outlined in the Associate Training Manual
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Flexibility to work off shifts.
Requirements:
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
- At least 1 year experience in similar position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Must have no issues with heights.
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends holidays as needed by the customer.
