Mohawk College is currently recruiting for our nextProfessor, Print Planning and Buying - Part Time
The McKeil School of Business requires a part time Professor to teach Print Planning & Buying course in the Advertising and Marketing Communications Management program.
Under the direction of the Associate Dean, Professors in this department are responsible for providing academic leadership for developing an effective learning environment.
Responsibilities:
The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Create a positive learning environment in the classroom and laboratories
- Providing innovative educational delivery and experiences through the use of online educational technology and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas), for inclass and online delivery. Use a variety of techniques to evaluate student achievement of learning outcomes
- Develop, deliver and revise learning resources within the department
Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have:
- Relevant educational qualifications in Print Planning and Buying (i.e. magazines, newspapers, outofhome media, Card Online and other industry software)
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience in Media and Print
- Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level would be an asset
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of human rights, equity, diversity and inclusion with the ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse groups of students, employees and the community.
