Group Claims Assistant

Manager, Group Dental Claims and Group Claims Support

Work Arrangements:
We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately November 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.

- Open, sort, and distribute mail
- Index incoming documentation accurately and within established turn around times
- Photocopying and other administrative tasks
- Maintain spreadsheets for tracking mail volumes, settlements each month, and other reporting purposes
- Basic member level updates
- Maintain case list allocations and complete updates as required
- Other duties as required
- Match denied claims with the system generated EOB to return to insured employees
- Prepare claims packages for Ombudsman as required
- In conjunction with claims team, prepare necessary documents to send for audit
- Returned mail process (Look up addresses or call employers for missing addresses for claims that have been returned to sender by Canada Post, and update the address on BMS)
- Other duties as required
