Envision is looking for a bright, motivated, team-oriented person to join our Rural Servicing department. This role involves contributing to ongoing projects and exploring new business opportunities. Our Rural Servicing team includes skilled environmental, civil, and water resource engineers and technologists. They specialize in decentralized sewage and water servicing, development approvals, and water resource impact studies.

As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:

  • Coordinating technical aspects, such as field methodology, reporting, and client deliverables for decentralized servicing projects. This may involve on-site sewage system designs, water resource impact studies, water supply studies, environmental compliance monitoring, septic re-inspection programs, development approval studies, construction tendering, construction inspections, and more.
  • Completing field investigations related to soil, groundwater, and surface water.
  • Developing technical work plans, work schedules, and financial proposals.
  • Preparing technical reports that document field investigations, analytical results, and interpretation.
  • Supporting excellent client management, internally and externally
  • In addition, any other functions assigned as part of your employment
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental engineering, Water Resource engineering, or Civil engineering, Environmental science, or a related field of study, from an accredited university.
  • Willingness to work on projects within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Readiness to learn engineering codes and technical standards, specifically related to Part 8 (Sewage Systems) of the Ontario Building Code
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from office/site (mileage to sites compensated)
