Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation services efficiently.


Responsibilities:


  • Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and dispatch drivers
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
  • Analyze routes to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
  • Coordinate with shipping/receiving departments to track shipments
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Use phone systems to communicate with drivers and internal teams
  • Maintain a high level of phone etiquette when interacting with customers and drivers

Qualifications:

  • Previous 3 years experience in dispatching, shipping, or transportation operations preferred
  • Proficiency in expert, load link etc.
  • Ability to analyze information and make quick decisions
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with drivers and team members
  • Knowledge of freight operations and logistics processes
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail

Pay:
$45,000.00-$150,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

- dispatching: 3 years (preferred)
