Description

Duties:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of the fleet vehicles
Follow up with drivers to ensure they're updating their status, and are onschedule
Assist with coordinating service of equipment if needed for incidents such as breakdowns or accidents.
Ensuring all work is accurately entered and managed in the TMS (driver trip progress and closing trips).
Connect with drivers; ensure they're following instructions and routes as assigned from day dispatch team.
Manage and direct all incoming inquiries through the dispatch telephone lines to ensure a clear, efficient flow of information to the appropriate people
Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
Manage tire service, including rotation, replacement, and repairs.
Ensure proper placement of trailer pool to support customers' daily requirements while maintaining costs
Be the front line contact for drivers regarding scheduling and work availability
Supervise service technicians and ensure they are properly trained and equipped
Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify any issues or potential problems
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts and equipment
Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders

Skills:

Strong mechanical skills with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and vendors
Customer serviceoriented mindset to address any concerns or issues promptly

Salary:
$72,000.00-$96,000.00 per year
