Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:

Minimum 3 years in infrastructure support roles working with:

- o Microsoft servers, Active Directory, Group Policies, SQL, PowerShell- o Azure, Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft Endpoint Defender, Office 365- o VMware, vMotion, vSphere o Networking technologies such as firewalls, switches, routing and wireless- o Server hardware such as SAN, NAS, Servers, (HPE Nimble preferred)- o IT security principals and familiarity with the NIST, CIS and MITRE Frameworks- o Backup software's such as Veeam, Zerto, Azure Site Recovery- 5 years in end user IT support roles supporting users remotely and in-person

Graduated from an accredited IT Program or equivalent relevant experience
Previous use of a commercial ITSM based ticketing system
Previous experience with any commercial monitoring system
Proficient knowledge in the ITIL framework
Understanding of project management techniques
Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem solving ability
Ability to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization
Strong knowledge of IT and Network infrastructure design and concepts
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong structured documentation skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Certifications in any of the following is considered advantageous: : VMware, Aruba, Citrix, Microsoft Azure or 365, CompTIA, ITIL Foundations
Must have a valid BC drivers license

Responsibilities:

Tier 3 support for desktops and end user devices, network and servers
Working on IT driven initiatives including upgrades, system builds, network security and other projects.
Working with other team members for escalation and training
Maintains a service level for firm's user base through use of ITSM systems, processes, procedures and policies
Participating in the IT emergency oncall rotation
Writing documentation including SOW, SOP, diagrams, build documentation, KB, checklists, runbooks, project documentation
Overall operational administration of the organizations IT infrastructure including: Firewalls, Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory, Citrix XenApp, Citrix NetScaler, Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, Citrix Storefront, RSA, Backups, VMware, Azure, Monitoring, SAN, Servers, Networking, Security, VPN, Video Conferencing, HPE Nimble dHCI
Administering with the team the overall security infrastructure including our MDR, EDR, XDR, Firewalls, Security Policies and data governance
Onsite support when required at the firm's offices across the lower mainland

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. Individual salaries within this range will be dependent upon skills, experience, and qualifications.
