Job Description:

We currently have a new opportunity for a Total Rewards (TR) Advisor. You will be part of an international team supporting and executing total reward elements for the organization.

This role will be responsible for Total Rewards tasks in both the UK and Canada and will play a "hands on" role in supporting and delivering key annual processes, including, but not limited, to compensation, benefits renewals, pension governance and reward & recognition.

Through research and benchmarking, the TR Advisor will help to define the future of Total Rewards and be instrumental in supporting the Manager of Total Rewards in shaping the TR Strategy.


Compensation:

  • Development and progression of the Company's Compensation structure and pay philosophy
  • Coordinating the annual reward cycle, including salary and short term incentives
  • Researching and reporting on market trends
  • Job evaluation of new and existing roles, working in partnership with internal stakeholders to ensure role alignment to organisational design
  • Compilation of data for annual external compensation and benefits market surveys
  • Completing annual Pay Equity/Gender Pay Gap reviews
  • Annual market analysis in line with the Company's Compensation structure, including the setting of market competitive rates
  • Developing compensation related policies and procedures
  • Management of the annual promotion budget

Benefits & Pension:

  • Knowledge of Benefits scheme and Pension plan to provide support where required in the administration and coordination of the monthly benefits requirements, pension scheme, reward & recognition programme and shares plan

General:

  • Supporting the implementation of new Total Reward systems and tools
  • Developing and maintaining communication/training materials, including educating managers and colleagues about total rewards
  • Working alongside colleagues to share knowledge and best practice
  • Adherence to administrative controls in line with audit requirements
  • Providing consultation to Human Resources Business Partners on Total Rewards
  • Creation and analysis of Reward data and statistics for key stakeholders
  • Adhoc project work as required

Basic Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; capable of interacting with all levels of management
  • Knowledge of general HR practices and legislation
  • Advanced ability in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • A willingness to learn about benefits and pension schemes
  • Experience in benefits and pension administration
  • Experience in the use of HR Systems
  • Completed or working towards the WorldatWork CCP or other compensation professional designation
Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
