    Description

    Universal Precision Technology is a well-established company specializing in crafting precision components and sub-assemblies for a variety of sectors including aerospace, military, medical, and defense.

    We are seeking to expand our team with a new addition who is highly skilled and experienced.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    - Report directly to the President and showcase a deep understanding of quality systems and team leadership;
    - Utilize intellect, judgment, and management expertise to drive business performance;
    - Coordinate plant operations in alignment with departmental managers to meet manufacturing goals efficiently;
    - Supervise a team of 35-50 employees, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring;
    - Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 standards, as well as other regulations and customer requirements;
    - Participate in quality, sales, production, and administration audits to enhance processes and standards;
    - Analyze production and quality trends, propose recommendations, and implement cost-effective measures;
    - Manage staffing needs, conduct performance evaluations, and address employee relations issues;
    - Oversee scheduling and completion of preventative maintenance tasks;
    - Adhere to instructions, regulations, and safety protocols;
    - Fulfill any other duties as necessary to accomplish the job successfully

    QUALIFICATIONS
    - Minimum of 7 years experience in manufacturing management;
    - Bachelor's degree in production management, business administration, or mechanical engineering;
    - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills;
    - Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities;
    - Willingness to promote Lean / Six Sigma initiatives;
    - Capability to meet deadlines, handle various tasks under pressure, and work in a fast-paced environment;
    - Proficiency in using computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
    - Knowledge of CNC machining and tooling design is beneficial


    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
    - Basic security clearance (Controlled Goods Program);
    - Own steel toe safety shoes
