The Administration / Culture Assistant is an entry-level position and works closely with the entire People & Culture team to create a supportive, friendly and enjoyable workplace.
Luma is a global visual effects studio with a strong emphasis on workplace culture.We're serious about enhancing the employee experience and are looking for someone committed to ensuring our online and in-person experience is lively and enjoyable for our crew.
The successful applicant will constantly strive for excellence using sound administration skills and a can-do, positive attitude. You must be able to thrive in a team environment and be independently motivated and driven. A finger on the pulse of what's happening in Vancouver is also a huge plus so you can drive engaging events with our local artists
Please note that whilst this position is currently a Work From Home position, it may require on-site presence in the future.
The position sits within the People & Culture department, and the role reports directly to the People & Culture Manager with a dotted line to the VP / Head of People & Culture.
You can:
- Work with multiple departments to organise schedules, calendars, events, and travel effectively.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews and recruiting events
- Set up external and internal meetings as required
- Work closely with the People & Culture team on rolling out P&C initiatives globally.
- Research and execute events
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed by the Management team
- Run administration/facility errands when required
- Always act as a positive representative of the company, both internally and externally.
You have:
- Previous experience or exposure in a role similar to this position.
- The ability to thrive independently as well as part of a team.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- The drive to excel at operating in a fastpaced and demanding environment.
- The commitment to always providing the highest standard for the crew's needs.
- Mastered Google Programs such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc.
- A highly motivated, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
- The ability to multitask while keeping a high level of attention to detail and organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in oneonone and large group scenarios.
- The love for taking initiative, responsibility, and ownership of your work.
- The thirst for gaining knowledge and growth.
- Strong critical thinking and decisionmaking skills.
- The right to work in BC
- A drivers license is a plus
