A RECRUITMENT SHIFT-PSW NEEDED ON AN ONGOING BASIS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR WEEKDAYS AND WEEKENDS

Applicants must be:
Certified PSWs (Have a diploma) or Nursing Students who have completed at least one year

Registered with OPSWA or willing to obtain

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

Care for people and families during periods of illness or recovery.
Provide bedside and personal care to clients and help them move, bathe, groom and get dressed and undressed.
Plan and prepare meals.
Spend time talking with your clients.
Continuously observe person(s) and their environments
Complete and maintain related records
Documentation includes communication books and progress notes.
Recent vulnerable sector check for employment
(NOT SCHOOL) within 1 year
Current
CPR and Standard First Aid Certificate from a WSIB approved Vendor
A recent copy of a 2step TB test within 1 year
N95 mask fit certificate
COVID vaccination Certificate
All Immunization record 2 step TB Test1, MMR, Tetanus, Hep B, Varicella, Flu Shot annually.

$20.00-$23.00 per hour

8 hour shift
Day shift
Evening shift
Night shift
Weekend availability

All Immunization history available and verified by a Dr. with stamp. MMR, Tetanus, Varicella, 2 step TB or Xray within a year, Hepatitis, DPT Vaccine, must be available.
Standard First Aid and CPR Required.

Education:
