As a Maintenance Administrator, the person is part of maintenance team responsible for the general maintenance of all equipment and facility, administrating inventory, storage, supply, buy and sell, contractors and support.

Essential Functions

  • Setup, implement and continuously administrate equipment, subassemblies, parts and other maintenance items inventory, documentation and CMMS, complying with internal standards (data, pictures, technical documentation, drawings and vendor / contractor info, etc.);
  • Administrate contact lists for contractors, buyers, sellers and other technical representatives under CMMS standards, provide call in assistance and keep in good relationship;
  • Coordinate items storage on facility and trailers, at CMMS standard,
  • Administrate Maintenance Department documentation at CMMS standard (manuals, diagrams, drawings, technical documents, etc.);
  • Assist maintenance personnel to provide items, documentation and support needed to complete work, in a timely manner;
  • Troubleshoot functional problems and resolve in a professional manner
  • Assist developing the CMMS system to cover Work Order and Preventive Maintenance Programs;
  • Assist maintenance personnel for machines, equipment, installation, put in function and repairs;
  • Conduct routine inspections & checking on any equipment, machines and installations;
  • All other duties as required.

Physical Demands

  • May be required to stand/sit/squat for long periods of time
  • May engage in frequent bending, stooping or squatting
  • Due to the environment, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity and cold
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25kg
  • Must be able to work in tight or enclosed spaces

Health and Safety

  • Conduct all Job Tasks in a Safe and Responsible manner.
  • Participate in all Health and Safety, GMP and HACCP training as required.
  • Report any accidents, incidents and unsafe/hazardous conditions to your Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Report any damages of property and machinery to your Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Ensure that you understand how and when to use the Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) that is located in your work area.
  • Ensure you comply with OHSA, WSIB, MOL regulations and/or laws that govern "workers" responsibilities in the workplace and Comply with Tradition Fine Foods Ltd. Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices, and HACCP Programs.

Job Specifications

  • Education equivalent to the completion of grade 1
  • Post secondary education related to machinery maintenance and repair.
  • A valid Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities License
  • Ability to maintain working relationship with coworkers and subordinates.
  • Available for shift work and overtime
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
