Sandblaster/Painter:

We are currently recruiting for

a Labourer-Painting & Sandblasting:
to join our west end team.

This position is seasonal from April to October (with potential to start earlier).

Our company is looking for an experienced Sandblaster/Painter to join our work team.

While you do not need to be a journeyman painter/sandblaster to apply, we do expect applicants to have some training with the heavy equipment, grinding tools, and power tools that you use during this process.

In addition to operating the blast booth and unloading the cabinet, you may also be asked to help with painting or coating tasks after you have successfully removed the unwanted substances from the surface.

Sandblaster Duties and Responsibilities:

Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other builtup material from surfaces
Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment
Load and unload the blast cabinet
Assist with painting or coating as needed

Sandblaster Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED certificate
Previous sandblasting experience or training
Experience working with or removing heavy metals a plus
Physical stamina
Flexible schedule
Familiarity with power tools
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle a physically demanding environment
Able to stand, push and pull for extended lengths of time
Able to lift over 50lbs repeatedly throughout your shift
