Key responsibilities:


  • Acts as first point of contact: concierge to alumni, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supports initiatives and activities to create and implement local and global chapters.
  • Liaises with internal and external stakeholders to provide postgraduate support/services to alumni.
  • Coordinates reports and data management activities in Salesforce and Banner.
  • Supports Alumni Relations events by playing a key role in coordination and execution.
  • Serves as the administrator of the Alumni Relations LinkedIn group.
  • Supports the coordination and creation of meeting materials, reports and minute taking.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements:


  • Threeyear advanced diploma from a recognized postsecondary institution or relevant, preferably in the field of Business and/or Marketing.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience providing administrative and office support.
  • Experience working in a postsecondary or similar environment.
  • Knowledgeable and experience in Software skills i.e., MS Suite, Salesforce, Banner, Fast, Cornerstone, and other College platforms is needed.
  • Event planning and digital marketing an asset.
  • Experience in developing and executing multimedia campaigns.
  • Experience developing weekly curriculum for children.
Experience in fundraising is an asset.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to cope under pressure associated with the management of numerous highvolume tasks in a busy service environment; high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Tact and diplomacy are required when dealing with upset individuals and to exhibit good judgment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent service to others as this is key to supporting the success of our students and our College.
  • Effective ability to interact with others and deal with situations in ways that respect diverse backgrounds, experience, and styles.
  • Flexibility in adapting to change and in participating in consultative decisionmaking processes.
  • Available to work outside of regular hours.
  • Must possess high professional standards and etiquette.
  • Fluency in one of the following languages considered to be an asset: Vietnamese, Korean, Hindi, Punjabi, Cantonese, or Mandarin.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. for events.
  • Ability to travel between campuses and for offsite events.

Interview process may consist of a practical skills component.

  • The College requires proof of degrees, credentials or equivalencies from accredited regional or federal postsecondary institutions and/or their international equivalents. Credentials may require validation at the time of interviews or offer.
  • First consideration will be provided to regular part time (RPT) support staff in accordance with the part time Support Staff Collective Agreement.
