The Manager, Resource Deployment manages and coordinates the efficient and effective running of Professional Services within ISM. This position has responsibility for contractor life-cycle management.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange for the delivery capability (people, skills, tools) to effectively deliver Professional Services to ISM's customers
- Coordination and delivery of all subcontractor recruitment activities for ISM and our clients across Canada, including screening and management of vendor submissions
- Focus on prospecting and recruiting talent for the ISM professional Services
- Create awareness of ISM's hiring needs in the technical community
- Navigate the competitive landscape for hiring the best and brightest of technical talent across a variety of disciplines
- Update and maintain information and tracking data regarding client orders, submissions, interviews, placements, rates, and hotlists
- Negotiate competitive rates based on market analysis
- Facilitate the onboarding process of contractors with both clients and ISM
- Support ISM professional services processes and systems for the smooth operation
- Lead or assist with status reporting, requirements identification and gathering, report writing, forecasting and budgeting.
- Assist in activities pertaining to the growth of Professional Services
- Regularly participate in overall account planning and objective setting.
- Regularly attend/support customer meetings reviewing outstanding problems and obtaining/delivering updates
- Proactively recognize and resolve issues before they impact results
- Analyze and solve problems, perform complex tasks, and prioritize multiple competing priorities
- Participate actively in knowledge sharing activities like communities of practice, forums, conferences and/or other knowledge exchanges
- Vendor relationship management
- Actively participate in review of RFPs and proposals for new ISM business opportunities
- Travel may be required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of corporate or agency recruiting, with a minimum of 2 years of technical sourcing experience
- Professional Recruiter designation considered an asset.
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of Project Management and business practices, procedures and methodologies.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.
- Ability to make sound decisions and judgments.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Sound financial analysis background.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
