ISM Delivery Architecture Services team creates the blueprints for the use of technology to help our clients grow, innovate, differentiate, and transform to achieve their businesses objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for the delivery architecture team to provide architectural services to ISM Canada customers to help them achieve their business objectives
  • Accountable for the success of the delivery architecture team culture through resource recruitment, professional development plans, team harmony initiatives, mentorship, practices, tooling, and methodologies
  • Accountable for the enterprise cloud architecture
  • Responsible for the coordination of knowledge, tools, methods, and other resources across ISM Canada divisions to optimize service delivery
  • Responsible for the development of architectural service offerings, including presentations to customers, costing, and sales support
  • Responsible for resolving complex technical and business problems by providing creative solutions that meet ISM and its customers business objectives
  • Regularly participate in organizational and divisional strategy and planning sessions
  • Regularly attend/run customer meetings reviewing outstanding problems and obtaining project updates
  • Participate in, and/or be responsible for the creation, harvesting, protection, and reuse of intellectual capital
  • Participate actively in knowledge sharing activities like communities of practice, forums, conferences and/or other knowledge exchanges

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), and/or a Cloud Technology Diploma, and 10+ years' experience in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 57 years' experience in assessing and implementing a broad range of information technology solutions and products and providing architectural artifacts
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • TOGAF (Open Group Architecture Framework) 9.x certification
  • Microsoft Certified Expert: Azure Solution Expert certification
  • PROSCI certification
  • ITIL certification
  • Multiple certifications from a variety of fields: MCSE, MCSA, CISSP, CCNA, IIBA, Azure, AWS, PMP, etc.
  • Sound financial analysis background
  • Ability to work flexible hours and outofprovince travel as required
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an independent fashion

Key Skills & Abilities:


  • Ability to become a trusted advisor by building and managing relationships with ISM's customers, partners, and team members.
  • Demonstrated leadership, supervisory and organizational skills
  • Requires a deep understanding of the technical aspects of cloud computing. Able to manage and sustain partnership relationships with cloud service providers.
  • Must be able to work with senior management and all departments within the organization to direct, evaluate, and monitor cloud services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely and successfully with people in a team environment
  • Interpersonal communication skills and the ability to provide resource management and personnel consultation.
  • Working knowledge in business matters, finance, planning, forecasting and personnel in order to manage project teams, and business issues.
  • Ability to meet with and work with customers to determine customer requirements and service delivery options.
  • Detailed knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Enthusiastic about mentoring and coaching others with their professional development
