Security Response Analyst II

BlackBerry's Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) is seeking a Security Response Analyst II to join our team in securing BlackBerry's product suites to protect our customers.

In this role you will:

Investigate reports of potential vulnerabilities in BlackBerry products
Assess the impact vulnerabilities on BlackBerry products
Work with product teams to resolve vulnerability reports
Develop ProofofConcept (PoC) code for testing
Investigate the effectiveness of BlackBerry products against malware threats
Create rules for CylanceOPTICS to protect customers from emerging threats

Relevant skills:

Software development with C/C++, C#, Java
Knowledge of secure coding practices
Knowledge of common classes of vulnerabilities (ie. SQLi, XSS, overflows, etc)
Knowledge of Windows, Linux and/or Mac operating systems
Experience investigating vulnerability reports and/or reporting vulnerabilities
Malware analysis
Knowledge of Mitre ATT&CK techniques
Knowledge of technologies throughout the network stack (ie. TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS)

Education:

Bachelor of Science with 2+ years experience, or
Masters of Science, or 24 years of relevant experience
