Job Duties

  • Review file with Sales Consultant to have a full understanding of the event
  • Load company vehicle with prepacked bins of equipment, décor, alcohol, and food if required, etc.
  • Drive to and from event from shop
  • Manage event staff while onsite
  • Interact with client directly while onsite, regarding timelines or any concerns
  • Successfully execute the event while professionally representing Tulips and Maple
  • Unpacking / putting away all items in shop post event. All dirty items put in the dish pit (includes dirty décor/risers), food items thrown out (or kept if still good and put in fridge), all décor put away on appropriate shelves in shop and all bar stock (empties/full bottles) to be put away.
  • Informing Event Coordinator when items (napkins, coffee, takeaway containers) are running low so they can be ordered.
  • Filling out Feedback form
  • Binder placed in office for Event Coordinator
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3years supervisory and bar management experience would be an asset
  • Smart Service Certification is a must
  • Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
  • Reliable Transportation and valid Class G Driver's License; a driver's abstract will be required
  • Good proficiency and experience with word processing (MS Word), spreadsheets (MS Excel), company software and database programs
  • Bilingual is an asset
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fastpaced environment
  • Solid knowledge of catering service principals, processes, procedures, policies, directives and guidelines
  • General physical wellness, ability to stand, lift, move etc. for long periods of time
  • Successful Police Check will be required
  • Government Clearance may be required
  • Current CPR, First Aid and WHMIS Training would be an asset
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age and up
  • Available to work shifts on days, evenings, nights and weekends

Job Types:

Salary:
$33,225.78-$36,074.33 per year

Experience:


  • Supervising and
Bar Management: 3 years (preferred)

  • Hospitality: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Smart Serve Certification (preferred)
  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
